The Center for Spiritual Healing of Marin County, Inc.
In service since 1978

The Center began 30 years ago, in Resoles, a remote village 300 miles from Manila. It was here where Gwenievere Maria studied the ways of the Espiritista psychic surgeons and healers, and was initiated into their sacred order as a spiritual healer and medium.

After five months of living and training with Paz Navolta, Gwenievere’s life-work was ordained and she was given permission to teach the ancient methods of the healers. She and her husband returned home to start an inter-denominational church to offer what they had learned in the Philippines to others. It was this illuminating and compassionate real-life teaching that started her path and launched the Center for Spiritual Healing into being.

On her return home, Rev. Maria and her husband began weekly healing services, while establishing a non-profit State-accredited Center in Tiburon, California. They were awarded articles of incorporation honoring all faiths, nationalities, and beliefs, with a perpetual 501(c) tax-exempt status, mandating that the Center would be dedicated to equality through spiritual and educational development world-wide.
Since 1978, the Center has celebrated the ancient wisdom within and the miracles of healing as they have been disclosed to us all. Blending the teachings of ancient shamanic wisdom with modern-day spirituality, our background in psychology and healing, and with the blessings of Paz Navolta and Doris William, our Alaskan Shaman teacher, the Center was established to:

• Honor global consciousness, while supporting each individual on their unique path to wholeness.
• Emphasize the importance of maintaining personal values and global health through certified training programs, retreats and individual sessions.

Our longevity has blessed us to continue to support the lives of others, and to provide accreditation services to those who wish to start or build a career in the Healing Arts. We are truly blessed to be celebrating our 30th year in October of 2007.
